One of the most important links in the production technology of winter cereals is the treatment of seeds before sowing.
Seed treatment is a simple, effective and relatively inexpensive method, which is practiced before sowing, in autumn and spring for grassy cereals (wheat, barley, triticale, rye, triticale).
Rich, quality and low-cost harvests can only be achieved by respecting production technology, so that the genetic resources of plants can be effectively exploited. Among the technological aspects of plant protection, seed treatment plays an essential role in the formation of the harvest, even if it is carried out before the establishment of the crop.
Neglecting this stage, by not carrying out or applying an incorrect treatment (applying too much or too little product, not completely covering all the grains, etc.) will cause production losses and sometimes we will even have to "return the crop" in the event of a strong pest attack. At the same time, the attack of diseases also causes great damage to straw cereal crops.
It is well known that starter fertilizers applied at the time of sowing represent the ideal technology for a good start and a vigorous emergence of crop plants. At the same time, this type of fertilizer represents an insurance policy that any farmer inclined towards technology and profitable results. What would it be like, however, if we could apply the fertilizer at the same time as seed treatment, thus saving entire technological processes, time and related costs?
Well, Cameli Construct SRL is also coming to meet farmers this fall with an innovative and effective solution, demonstrated through field testing, both in the cultivation of straw cereals and corn: STIM+ - liquid fertilizer with the role of a germination biostimulator, used in seed treatment in straw cereals and corn crops.
STIM+ is an ideal product especially for those crops that do not benefit from irrigation and that need all the help possible for uniform and vigorous emergence.
The liquid fertilizer, biostimulator with microelements STIM+ for pre-sowing treatment of seed material of autumn and spring cereal crops, provides all the necessary macro and microelements.
Stim Plus N-31.3%; P2O5-22.6%; K2O-29.7%; MgO-21.2%; B-7%; By -7%; Fe-28.3%;
Dosage
- Wheat and rice 4-5 l / ton of seeds
- Corn 5l / ton of seeds
- Sunflower 5l / ton of seeds
Benefits for the plant
- good plant nutrition right from germination;
- ensuring conditions for the proper growth and development of young plants;
- strengthening the root system;
- increasing drought resistance during the emergence period.
Benefits for the farmer
- rapid germination and emergence of crops (acceleration of emergence);
- establishing the basis of a healthy culture;
- better plant health and greater resistance to environmental stress factors;
- higher yields.
STIM+ fertilizer application recommendations:
STIM+ fertilizer application recommendations:
- Pour the planned amount of water into the seed treatment machine tank.
- Add the recommended amount of insecticides and fungicides and turn on the agitator.
- Add a measured amount of STIM+ fertilizer (250-300 ml/100 kg of seeds).
Important! Shake vigorously before opening the STIM+ container. The treatment should be carried out per ton of seeds (together with the fungicide and insecticide) in the amount of 2.5-3.5 l for straw cereals and 3-4 l/t for corn per 10 l of working solution. Before treatment, check by making a mixture in smaller quantities to determine the compatibility of the products. The resulting mixture should not form a precipitate.
STIM+ is recommended for cereal crops, winter or spring wheat, winter or spring barley. The product is in the approval stage for use in the Republic of Moldova.
Recommended dose per ton of seeds: 3 liters

It has biostimulating properties due to:
- Additional amino acids
Amino acids are essential compounds of proteins, enzymes (activators of all metabolic processes), vegetative and reproductive tissues and organs of plants. These organic substances are necessary for the "construction" of the plant and for the activation of its metabolic functions.
- Humic acids and fulvic acids .
Humic acids are organic molecules of a colloidal nature that easily "replenish" nutrients and transport them to plants.
Fulvic acids are substances that can neutralize residues of applied products and toxic substances in the soil, eliminated by the roots left in the soil as crop residues. The latter slow down the activity of the roots of plants grown on the same land the following year.
Fulvic acids stimulate photosynthetic processes even in periods of low light, contribute to cell division and growth, increase plant resistance to abiotic and biotic factors. In this way, better germination and emergence of crops is ensured, as well as a strong anti-stress effect, stimulating physiological processes in plants.
